Status #10 – Gilmore Girls


I was at my little cousin’s house last evening. Let’s call him Rho. He’s 8 years old and plays piano really well, much much better than me haha. He’s one of those kids that makes you question what you’ve done with your life so far…

I planned on playing tennis with my uncle (Rho’s dad) this evening, but got there late and it ended up raining too. Really put a dampener on our plans. #triplePun

We pushed the match to Sunday afternoon so I’ll be playing him tomorrow. ğŸŽ¾

My blogging has slowed for a few reasons. I’ve been busy in general, but I made a commitment to finish something fairly time consuming I’ve been working on in the next few weeks. Unfortunately my laptop is out of commission for the next few days, possibly a week, so I have a little break. I’m blogging from my phone again so pictures are limited. I also haven’t kept my journal as handy so I’m disorganized and forgetful. I just have so many things to write about that it’s slightly overwhelming, even paralyzing.

Gilmore Girls

I randomly started watching Gilmore Girls with my sister and it grew on me. Started somewhere in Season 5 but we started over from Season 1. The thing I love about it is Rory’s relationship with her mother. I think it’s perfect.

While we’re on the subject, my living room got a nice upgrade while I was away. I decorated it further with a dragon model, some mini-samurai swords R got me yesterday when she was out shopping with a friend, and some other miscellaneous objects I’ve likely mentioned elsewhere on my blog.


I have a few more posts left dedicated to C. However, I’d rather wait until I have my laptop before writing them. I will say that things don’t feel the same.

Annual Training (AT) 2016

I wrote down so much during the two weeks that I don’t want to blog all of it. I thought way too much. I’ll consider writing an entry with the highlights of my experience but I won’t leave you with nothing. Below are some pictures and videos I took during training. Enjoy!

I have not been lazy! Been exercising every single morning for the past few days. It’s a nice routine and I already see results. Maybe I’m weak but this app is freaking brutal haha. Here are my last three workouts! For the first two I stopped the timer during breaks. For the last one (tuck jumps), I left it running till I finished. Really need to improve these times.

That’s all I can think of right now. I’ll add to this of anything else comes to mind, otherwise, until tomorrow.

P.S. Andddd I forgot something, an old song on the radio from my high school days. Popped into my head a week ago. One of my favorites! ğŸ˜Ž

  1. I was just wondering about Gilmore Girls. I don’t have a real appreciation for it (I was three when it began!), but I was contemplating testing it out after seeing Netflix advertisements. How serendipitous that you bring it up.

    1. I didn’t either until I watched more of it! Not something I would watch alone, but maybe I’ll find someone to watch it with at Pitt haha. My sister’s college is too far away 😝

  2. You really are busy! First, blogging from your phone–totally admirable. I’ve tried responding to posts on my phone–not good.
    Congrats on your daily workout program. Bodyweight exercises are definitely the best.
    And Gilmore Girls–never thought I would like that show.
